I have spent a lot of money on many GXL wire spools with different gauges, connectors etc. I figured I'd do all this myself. After buying all this and talking to a friend who is rewiring his car, I settled on a Painless wiring harness. God I'm glad I did that. The Painless manual itself costs money. Things I didn't even consider are covered, and basically it's already connected to the fuse box, branched out, color coded and with PRINTED wire IDs. Cool. I've been refinishing wires for two months (a little here, a little there, it's cold!). The fact that I move slowly is not because of the painlessness, I just take my time and move slowly. Now I'm finally nearing the end, can't wait to plug in the batteries and see the sparks. lo and behold, everything works perfectly!
