Here are the cons: 1) This item is OLD. 2) This thing is really expensive compared to newer headsets (even their Pro 2s are hundreds cheaper). 3) The microphone picks up EVERYTHING that happens in the background. Don't believe the description that purports to be high-tech ambient noise cancellation, blah blah. It's not like this. The people you call will hear the needle drip on your side. It really is a deal breaker for me. I'm so disappointed that I spent so much money on it and after a week it was clear that this would never work for my work. 4) It has a huge dock that needs to stay plugged into the wall while your laptop or headset isn't working. Guess you just immobilized your laptop completely. Pros: 1) It's convenient 2) It's lightweight
