Review on Cardinal Gates Auto Lock Gate White by Erica Gutierrez

My family has 6 large dogs, 3 of which I take to the office with me every day. It is a necessity that I can isolate dogs individually or in groups from time to time. With the Cardinal MG-15 it's easy. Installation instructions are simple. Installing the gate in a standard door takes about 10 minutes. The locking mechanism is very easy to use and allows the gate to be opened two ways or one way, depending on which installation method you prefer. Structure and workmanship are solid. Dogs are dogs so they are trying to figure out how to open or close the gate. It was this feature that prompted me to purchase the MG-15. I used to try to use wooden or plastic children's goals. The dogs quickly found they could knock the gate over, or in one case simply gnaw it to pieces. NOT MG-15! The dogs have been working on it since I've had them and there's not even a scratch on the gate. They rest at the gate, and the bolt holds. Some of my dogs weigh over 100 pounds and the gates can handle the load. I have been fortunate enough to have purchased a total of 6 of these gates over the past 2 years. I use them at work to keep dogs in my office when I have to go to a meeting. I use them at home to confine them to our designated 'dog areas'. In one room I actually have an area (our dog room) where I placed a gate at ground level and another one slightly higher to form a barrier closing the entire exit from top to bottom. This was to counter a particularly agile dog that found it could leap over the gate at ground level. Overall we are very happy with the Cardinal MG-15 Autolock. We wholeheartedly recommend this no matter how many dogs you have or the size of the dog. You will not be disappointed. UPDATE: A gate had an issue and the locking mechanism broke. I contacted Cardinal customer service and within 3 days I had a replacement part and the gate was working like new. Thanks Libby for your help! You are incredible! 10/10 for customer service response!
