every now and then in our high-tech world of complex gadgets, someone finds a simple, low-tech solution to a problem and produces something that just does it Fun because it's so smart. The Whiskware salad shaker is just such a product. The jar itself is good quality glass, but the lid seals the jar well when not in use and is dishwasher safe when it needs cleaning. I take it apart but it doesn't really need to be taken apart to clean. A really clever addition is the ball-shaped whisk, which spins at the bottom of the jar and effectively mixes oil, vinegar, mustard, and any other ingredients you like into your salad dressing. Simply swirl the ergonomically designed glass and the well-mixed dressing is ready to drizzle over the salad. Fabulous! I don't care about the measurement lines on the side of the jar because I have my own recipe and mixing method and my wife would like a smaller model so I don't make more dressings than we can use in a week, but that's it Hardly any criticism, just suggestions.
