I have bought a lot of sippy cups. We use them mostly in the crib and bed so it is critical that they are not leaky. I have no patience for leaks. We also use them for preschool. I am extremely fond of the Nuby sippy cups. Those don't leak and last forever, but they have a very babyish look and I wasn't going to send my 5 year old to preschool with a Nuby. However, the regular water bottles tend to spill all over his backpack.I know this sippy cup says 9+ months, but the look is fine. It doesn't scream sippy cup. So far, it's not leaky. I've had some that disappointed me quickly. We need to wait and see on this brand, but so far so good. The only thing I don't love is that it's super easy to open it up. For the 5 year old, that's good. But when his 2.5 year old sister can do it, I'm not so excited about it. So this can be a plus or a minus, but the cup really opens easily. Easily enough for my 2.5 year old.I also wish this cup was a bit bigger. It's good size for a baby, but a little small for the preschooler. Still going to happily use it because it looks nice and doesn't spill and his little sister is still a bit young for Contigo.I haven't needed to clean it yet since we use it for water only, but it looks pretty straightforward. The price was also good too.
