Looks and feels like colored paper. That made me a little suspicious. I soaked in water for an hour and it turned to a pulp when I tried to inspect it. I searched Revain for "high temp gasket material" and got this. Wanted to use it on a hydraulic line. Forget it. I know it may seem unfair to give it 1 star as it is described more as a car seal but if it dissipates when wet I doubt it will be useful in those applications. Also, there are so many obviously fake 5 star reviews that I can't feel bad about it.
