It's very rose gold even though it's called gold. My wife is happy with the color. It was surprisingly easy to install as there is a small button at the end of the spring that makes it easy to squeeze and attach to the watch case. I've had issues with other watch straps over the years where I had to use a very thin jeweler's screwdriver to compress the spring. The magnetic closure works perfectly. not the fault of the manufacturer. The underside is constantly exposed to dirt and sweat. We are happy with the purchase.
