Ready for Winter: Comforters

While most reviews of this duvet are positive, there is a minority that will make you consider buying it. This can indicate either poor quality control, customers with special expectations, or both. My comforter arrived well tailored, relatively soft, odorless and a weight just right for layering. I found scant protection from the cold under synthetic fiber blankets, which can give off static electricity if rubbed improperly. Cotton is good for soft clothing, while wool is best for warmer clothing. The fact is that wool blankets are expensive. This great value blanket is made in France, not China, by a company that has been in business for a long time. How this works over time remains to be tested. I've applied it directly to my bed with noticeably good results and will likely take it to the dry cleaners if the opportunity calls for it. I'm ready for winter.

Pros
  • Blankets and Bedspreads
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance
