It would probably be very comfortable. I'm a pretty tall guy; 6 feet is about 230 pounds. 2XL always works for me with things like this; Nightwear, sport pants, swimming trunks, etc. I ordered 2XL. They looked very pretty and I threw them in the wash as soon as I opened them. Big mistake. These pants are HUGE. at least 3XL. The inseam hangs about 4-5 inches lower than it should and the waist is 3-4 inches larger. Too bad I didn't wash them first. You were about to return. My kids said they looked like clown pants.
