They are very thin. Almost like a normal paper towel. I was disappointed at first as I thought they were more like other microfiber towels which are much thicker. But I have found that they have many uses. I use them as a replacement for dustpans as they are washable and reusable. I use these for car storage instead of paper towels for anything you might need. I keep them in the house to dust. After washing they are SUPER SOFT. I think you should probably wash them first if you don't like how flimsy they are to begin with.
