They are much larger than advertised. 25mm is 0.98 inches and they are huge! I bought these for a suit to use in place of the 1" flat button. That's definitely not going to happen! The description lists one of their uses for making a tufted headboard, and that's probably the only thing they can be used for at all. Even if it's used for something like that, you'd best have giant "diamonds" in the headboard! The button itself seems pretty well made for the price, but it's over an inch wide and over an inch tall. Too big for a thick adult winter coat. I'm only keeping them because I collect different types of buttons, but if you're looking for them for something other than upholstery, this is NOT a handy button.
