Fairly easy to install. The instructions are useless, so you have to figure everything out yourself. Only 2 screws to remove the old link, then unscrew the ends of the new link until the holes line up with the old screws. Insert the rear screw first, finger tighten, then make sure the front screw is the correct length, the screw should run straight. Adjust as needed. Hand tighten the front nut. Move up/down a few times to make sure it's right. On my 2017 Road Glide, I had to back off the center end a few turns to keep the nut from hitting the front shifter. Straighten the middle part and tighten the screws at the ends. Finally, tighten the 2 screws holding the linkage. It should switch easily, just like the old rod. It looks 100% better than the stock model and appears to be of the same quality as the $100+ parts I've seen at dealerships and trade shows. I'll have to see how it ages over time but VERY happy with the purchase.
