As others have said this is a very good stand with one HUGE downside: the little screws are the cheapest white metal in the world and they are WAY sturdier than they need to be. IMPORTANT: If you need to adjust the slot width, there is a high chance that one or more of the screw heads will come loose before you can loosen them. I used an actual bit (not the cheap allen key that other reviewers have pointed out) and was able to loosen THREE of the 4 screws. Unfortunately it turned out that the 4th screw was too tight and the Allen key had snapped off. Now the product is unusable. Design changes required: 1) Use REAL or hardened screws 2) Don't push them in so hard! Based on the design it takes VERY LITTLE tension to hold the screw - so why is it so tight? (I assume it would stay in place even if they were FREE) 3) Ship the stand with the sides initially set to the MAXIMUM width, not the minimum width: at least it could be used , if the screw heads break. OTHERWISE it is a very nice solid stand - honestly a pity to return it.------------------------ ------- - - ----------------------------------- - UPDATE: Awesome Revain Service immediately replaces device and the new one is not cracked - hence I give this new one 5 stars - up to 3 on average (1 shared, 2nd not). Just to give you an idea of how tight the bolts came in, there are permanent indentations in the aluminum of the base frame where the bolts were tightened from underneath (not visible in use so not a problem). And I had to back off the bolts about 5-6 turns just to get the side braces to slide - which is actually pretty GOOD because you don't really have to over tighten them to be fully effective. I just hope the manufacturer fixes this - they have a good product! FYI I used a 2.5mm allen key (not the one that came with it as other reviewers said it was cheap metal and could snap itself).
