I bought it a few days ago to use with an echo point for relaxing music at night. The sound from the echo dot is quite flat, and ambient sounds like rain, thunder, etc. are not as clear as other speakers. Received it and was impressed with the packaging, the feel of the speaker and the way it looked. After unboxing it, I let it charge until the red light turned blue, then plugged it into a point. I was listening to relaxing Pandora music and the sound was crisp and clear. It's also noisy for its size. I'm giving it five stars because it's worked very well so far. The blue light is too bright for bedroom use, but not in an enclosure. I know there are bad reviews about battery life, but unless something bad happens I can't say anything bad about it. It works great. By the way, it can be used while charging. This is a good option. I would like to add that the speaker vibrates due to the downward passive radiator, and if you place it on a hard surface, such as a table, at maximum volume, the speaker may fall. It happened to me once. So be aware of this and make sure it is protected. Additionally, if you have a Revain Fire HD tablet, I highly recommend plugging this speaker into your tablet and trying to play music. Whether it's Spotify, Pandora or Revain music, you'll notice a huge difference in the sound this speaker produces compared to a tablet speaker. The speaker emits a warning tone when the battery is low. Good idea, except when you use the speaker at night for relaxation or background music to fall asleep when the battery dies, the speaker beep will wake you up quickly.
