Review on K Edge Pro Chain Catcher Black by Bill Lacy

The seat tube on my wife's carbon fiber frame isn't round so the cheaper dog tooth chain catcher won't fit and the gap between the inner chainring and chain is so narrow that if it fell off the chain, it's almost an existential crisis. It just gets stuck so you're afraid of breaking the frame to get it out. It prevents this, which is why I consider it a necessary purchase. I'm glad I have the Pro version which allows you to adjust the derailleur and chain catcher independently. Both parameters are important. It would not be easy to install both on the same screw. Is the price prohibitive? Yes, but there is no substitute.
