Works great. I even peeled the skin off the pumpkin. Inexpensive but best we've used as we prefer the Y shaped peepers. I know a lot of people complain about it rusting, but I call it user error. This is not stainless steel, don't expect to be able to handle it as is. If you know someone who has a non-stainless steel kitchen knife or pocket knife, ask them what oil to use after washing to make it food safe. Rinse immediately after use and NEVER put in the dishwasher. If that's too much maintenance for you, maybe it's not your cleaning machine and you probably shouldn't buy expensive kitchen appliances lest you end up with a lot of cash messing up your stuff.
