Difficult to get in and out of.

Driving for 24 years. Four years mountain biking and 20 years racing bike. My longest day trip was 138 miles. I don't know if I got bad boots as some of the reviews were good. But these cleats suck compared to the Shimano cleats I've been using for most of my road riding. They are difficult to insert and remove even when the pedals are completely loose. Since they weren't expensive, I decided to file down some sections of the spikes to see if I could get them to work. There is no such happiness. I will never be able to comment on the durability aspects of these spikes as I will only be using them on my skates, sneakers or bikes. They are not suitable for outdoor riding, at least not for me.
