Review on πŸ›οΈ Portable Blue Twin Size Air Mattress for Inflatable - Compact Blow Up Mattress with Flocked Top - Foldable Single Air Bed for Camping, Travel & Backpacking by Lance Jenkins

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Only lasted 5 weeks

I use these mattresses as a standard bed. Most of them lasted 2 years before leaking a little and needing to be pumped up every week. When I recently bought this it lost some air the first night so I bought another one. After a few weeks it had to be pumped up again. Last night (after 5 weeks of use) it bottomed out towards the end of the night when it was full at the start of the night. That might be fine for a camping or guest mattress where you rarely use it, but for now it's rubbish. I traced it back to the leaking valve. The valve is pressed in, not the screw. Doesn't hold air. Now I can not find with a screw valve. All have a press fit. ARCH!UPDATE Since I couldn't find a replacement screw valve, I kept trying to find and fix the leak. I've done a lot with the valve without solving the problem. Eventually the leak got bad enough for me to find. One of the melted circles holding the baffles between the top and bottom has overheated, causing a crack in the material. Since it was on the flocked side I couldn't use the patch that came with it. But some gel forming a seal sealed the hole.
