Review on Efficient Food Dehydration with Presto 06307 Dehydro Electric Dehydrator Mesh Screens by Robin Crane

Most of the reviews about the dehydrator mentioned that cleaning is really very easy, so I ordered it at the same time as the dehydrator. At first I really couldn't figure out how they would make a difference since they are mesh too, but after using them I got it. Laying another layer of mesh into the machine's trays keeps many of the bits that would normally clog the trays out of the grooves. They are so easy to clean and really make cleaning the main bowls less of a hassle when drying small things like herbs etc. I've even dried minced garlic with it. They come in packs of two. So if you want enough to cover all the compartments of the machine, you need to order two packs. I intend to order another pack if I order fruit bun bowls. They're supposed to be dishwasher safe but my dishwasher is really new and warped some of the thinner plastic items so I won't take chances because if they warp and don't lay flat they're pretty much useless.
