When they are installed, any lateral pressure will cause them to rotate around the roll bar. The guard rails will just never line up properly to keep the rig from spinning. To solve this problem I drilled a hole in the tab on the bracket that lined up with the nut on the clamp. At the installation point I then drilled a 1/4" hole in the guard. On this modification I installed a #6-1.0 x 50mm cap screw through the tongue + guard and back into the welded nut on the clamp .The screw ensures the pin never turns and solves that problem everyone talks about where the tack nut pops out.This little mod makes it a solid fit.A few other notes: 1) The metal is actually very hard (okay) so drilling was tough on my bits 2) Small spring clips fall out easily Use masking tape to hold them in place while you mount the pin to the frame 3) The pins are a bit short for big boots.
