They do their best job of protecting the chest and back
well they aren't too heavy and i think the extra $50 for liners in where the fox was sold from is a bit absurd . I stomached the bars last week but still got a decent bruise but they are very flimsy and I can wear them under my jersey unlike my other ribs/perches. Generally happy with them, but would invest the extra money or protection in an entirely separate set of pads.
