I've had this cute portable air cooler for about 45 days and it seems to work great with 3 speeds and with or without water. I can feel enough cool humidified air 6 to 8 feet away. I usually run it at top speed, with the internal water averaging 77-78 degrees Fahrenheit, which cools to 75-76 degrees Fahrenheit within the 3-foot range of the fan. It's not much, but enough to cool me down for my needs. I had a bit of a problem figuring out how hard to press the keys, but then I realized I just had to put my shape on each "word" (power, mode, speed, or lightbulb icon) as a key, to change the setting.
