Review on 🌧️ Optimized Rain Poncho: Arcturus Lightweight Ripstop Nylon with Adjustable Hood by Teo Alston

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Light doesn't always mean good

Yes, it's light, but there are some problems with it. First, it's waterproof, not waterproof. Once it's been soaked enough times, you'll find yourself getting wet underneath. I would never trust that for shelter from the rain! Second, despite being a ripstop material, it's so thin that even a light grip could result in a break. Third, the opening for the hood is too small and not adjustable. I guess I just have a big head because it hardly ever misses me. She is a good size. It has snaps and eyelets although they are cheap. The material and water repellency are only sufficient for use in urban areas and in moderate rain. I would NOT recommend this as a military poncho replacement to anyone who needs a durable and reliable poncho. It's certainly better than a plastic emergency poncho, but the poor durability defeats that purpose. Spend a few euros more and get a real military poncho.
