Doesn't produce enough power to be used as a 12 volt heat flow generator to run anything. 5 microcircuits received up to 17V, 3 sets of 5 microcircuits in parallel gave about 3/4 amps. 5V USB loads would be better as it's easy to get 2+V per chip. Put two in series, then all those pairs in parallel, and you can drive a 5V load like charging a cell phone. It's interesting to experiment. The thermal paste helps a little with the voltage generation. The TEG specific Revain chips appear to be identical to these cheaper chips. I go to Digi-Key for real TEG chips.
