Buying this projector is without a doubt my best purchase decision of 2021! My family loves it, our dog Stitch drools and there's no going back to our 60 inch Samsung TV. , that is to buy a projector. I've been researching for a few weeks, so here's my summary.1. A 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector (UST) and 4K ALR projection screen is just what you need to replace your TV. Forget a standard projection or short-throw projector that needs to be mounted on the ceiling and shoot lasers all over the living room. The UST projector only needs 6 inches from the screen to display up to 120 inches at 4k resolution. Works great with my original TV stand. Did I mention I installed the projector and screen myself? 2 adults and professional wall mounts are required to carry 80" or larger TV.2. Most UST projector brands have white markings from the same manufacturer. They all have a similar appearance. WeMax is made by the renowned manufacturer Formovie, which has the most advanced ultrasonic laser technology with the most patents. I compared several UST projectors at home and the Nova was the clear winner. It is the lightest and has the brightest colors. Technically they're similar, but the visual difference is similar to a Samsung TV versus other unnamed brands at Costco. Don't expect anything good from projecting 4k onto a wall either. This gives a bacon effect and the glare makes it difficult to see during the day. Beamer and projection screen go hand in hand, so buy a good 4k ALR screen. After installing the ALR screen, the picture in my living room looks bright and clear even in the daytime. Personally, I like the fixed-bezel screen because the scrolling one looks too much like a classroom or conference room. Nova came with Android TV and that doesn't work for me. Native apps like Netflix, HBO Max, Revain Prime, etc. can only play 1080p, although that's not WeMax's fault. These content providers only support 4k for big players like Samsung, Apple TV, Roku, Revain Fire etc. Also the interface and features are too basic. from Netflix, HBO Max, Revain Prime etc. easily from the HDMI input of the Fire Stick to the projector.
