I bought this because I often need to load large photo booth cases into the tailgate of my 2006 Subaru Forester and was concerned about a) damage to the bumper and b) how light the boxes are slide in and out during loading. However, it's a great buy for my car as it can do both and I can still jack it up very easily while still having access to the compartments (spare tire, jack, etc.) underneath. I'm planning to repaint my rear bumper soon and I'm glad this product will help protect it in the future!
