Cooks HOT. On a low level, it cooked in just a few hours. I can't leave this "slow cook" all day or I'll be back to burnt food. It says that this is a multicooker for 6 liters and the liquid only holds 5 liters. The time setting is pretty easy to use but not that easy to see when you set it as there is NO backlight on the screen until AFTER cooking. The whole reason I wanted a new slow cooker was because my old one was starting to cook everything. Now this one seems to cook the same way, low simmer and high simmer. Why was I worried. I just want a slow cooker that cooks SLOWLY.
