Very soft. Haven't decided whether to keep or not because I thought I saw ribbed material like the old fashioned t-shirts and these ribs served a purpose. I could skip a bra! The point of buying these were to wear under clothing and to eliminate the necessity for a restrictive bra if at all possible. Without the ribs, the material is quite thin which is not what I expected. But they're so soft I may struggle with returning them.
