I am a foster mom to kittens from 2 to 8 weeks old. They stay in these little playpens with a bed, food, water and a small litter box, and they still have plenty of room to play with their toys and each other! I can keep 1-2 kittens in it until they are adoptable (they must be 8 weeks old and weigh at least 2 pounds). I'm so happy because I have to keep the individual litters separate so they don't infect each other. When I have new babies, I take the empty one outside, hose it down and disinfect it, then let it dry in the sun for extra disinfection. If you need this playpen for casual outdoor play, this is perfect. It zips up at the top, and if you have a very smart pet that knows how to open it, the simple answer is a sure grip that you use to close it! You'll love it because it folds down to less than 10 inches in circumference and there's a pocket for it! I'll be ordering a third one soon.
