Easy to install but produces a blue or green cast. I hoped they were purer white light. Used them to replace some of the halogen lights in our caravan. We turned some of the lights upside down as they are very bright when viewed directly (our lens has a clear center spot and the light from them is more intense due to those clearer, smooth spots on the lens), so than we are some sat were annoyingly bright. This was helped by turning them upside down in this device. And they heat up but cool down faster than halogen bulbs, so be careful not to touch them immediately after the lights turn off. I was hoping for a little lower brightness but they will work.
