They are easy to install but I also have experience installing skins on electronic devices, PPFs on cars etc. I suggest cutting out all the details, folding a small part of the back and pinching the edges easy. the part you are installing. The adhesive is very sticky and strong, so if you press on it, it will be difficult to remove, re-stick, rotate and align. It takes the curves fairly well, but it's always best to use a heat gun/hair dryer on the edges to make sure they take the shape of the curve and don't rise. Air pockets can be avoided if you work from the center and then push to the edges. I just installed it and can't comment on durability. But they seem thick and durable enough to take a decent impact. Depending on your bike and what you want to protect, you need to look at the part sizes in all the different kits. Mixing multiple sets.
