Review on Men's Adidas Originals Seeley Running White Shoes by Mike Ogunlana

Black turns orange and FAST

Bought them all in black on March 16 after seeing a big discount. I only paid $33 for them which is about double the price they have previously quoted. I don't know if the big discount was because they wanted to give away lower quality items or if they sent me a fake or something (as far as I can tell I bought direct from Amazon/adidas). But by mid-April, these two all-black Adidas boots had turned orange on one side. Sure, it's a bit sunny this time of year, but I've never had clothes that fade so quickly in the sun. That goes for black baseball caps, shirts, etc. For example, my 59th cap is probably 4 years old, all black, and I wear it in the sun all the time and it's still black. It's hard to complain considering how much I paid. but still. I would be upset if I paid the full/current price. It's better to sell them as shoes that are black today, orange tomorrow or whatever. Not only are they overly sun sensitive, they are sold as running shoes and people tend to run under the sun. I'm just warning you I haven't bought a pair of Adidas shoes in ages. I usually buy black DCs and they never turn that orange.

Cons
  • Periodicity
