Tried a few of these cheap Bluetooth devices in the form of headphones to pair with my PC connect so I can use it for Microsoft Teams meetings and calls (VoIP). I specifically didn't want a large headset or boom mic to be visible during video calls, but I still wanted to be able to walk around my home office during a call (except for using the fixed mic on my desk or webcam). , so headphones seemed ideal. Solution. However, after purchasing 3 other similar models to this one, while they all sounded good enough to listen to, including this one, the mics on the others were TERRIBLE. So bad that most of the time the people on the other end couldn't understand much of what I was saying. I gave back to each of them and was ready to give up. I decided to try another just to make sure I had done my research thoroughly. I figured I'd probably have the same experience and would have to take it back and upgrade to a much more expensive model (and I could still get more range for some calls, more on that in a moment). I'm so glad I gave this a try (Bluetooth device name shows as G03). This is the first model with a great microphone! It's a bit tinny, but considering the size (and price), that's okay. On the other end of the line, my voice was clear. I tested it with people who all said they could understand me. I've also used the test call feature in Teams and recording in the Recording app (I used Audacity, but any will do). My voice over the microphone was always clear and understandable. You wouldn't mistake this for a high-quality mic recording (I wouldn't recommend recording a podcast with this guy, although you could in a pinch), but all the words were perfectly clear. Please note these are NOT headphones for music. Apart from mono, the speaker is good for speech, but nothing more. When switched on, it crackles and every nuance of the music is lost. This isn't a negative for me as I only wanted it for conversations, but if you want a monophonic music experience (anyone?) then this isn't the best option for that. Some of the other headphones I ruled out because of their terrible mics actually had better speakers. For me they are comfortable and stay in place, but I don't usually have a problem with them. It seems very personal and depends on the shape of your ear. The ONLY negative that was an issue for me with these G03 headphones is the range, but I don't think I can blame it as I think it's more a function of the tiny Bluetooth USB adapter on my PC is, although it is Bluetooth 5.0. As long as there is line of sight between the earbud and dongle, the range is good, at least 20 feet, maybe a lot more. But if I turn my head so that my head is between the listener and the button, the sound is cut off in both directions, even when I'm close. The problem is that there's no way of knowing this happened when you're speaking other than knowing your head is interfering with the signal. It would be nice if it buzzes or beeps softly to let you know the connection has been compromised. Several times I spoke, turned the wrong way and the person on the other end got nothing, and I kept mumbling, unaware that I had lost the connection. The good news is that once you're back in range, everything resumes instantly, with no need to re-pair. I think the only solution to this problem is to connect a Bluetooth device to a computer with an antenna (I ordered one but can't say if that helped yet), or maybe it's a current limitation of headphone technology , in this case a full headset with boom microphone, leaving room for a larger antenna to compensate. There's just no room for anything in the headphones. Overall I am very impressed, ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE. If you're looking for a tiny pair of earbuds with decent sound (for talking) both ways and can provide line of sight between the earbuds and Bluetooth, this guy is a perfect choice. **UPDATE** I received a new Bluetooth USB adapter with an attached antenna. Now I can go anywhere, including the next room, and these headphones have good reception anywhere, even the wall doesn't block it. I haven't tested it at 20+ feet but now it's perfect for me. My previous reception problems were with the dongle, not the handset (but larger bluetooth headsets worked with the old little dongle and this handset didn't, so it sounds like you need a good antenna on at least one end).
