Bought to install a light over a leaking door. But I first used it when my dog's plastic footpegs fell apart. I put it back together with all sorts of tape and little by little, when it fell or tipped over, it fell apart again. Now there was a big nut, a plastic nut, that came out when the steps were new and never stayed. Well I didn't read the removal instructions so I cut off two small square pieces to fit the nuts. back, then I glued the square that I cut out. I was amazed how it stuck and sealed. The steps kept getting knocked over, the tape still stuck, and the plastic nuts left behind. I hope it works just as well for covering the top of a leaky light fixture! Very proud!
