This is our daughter's third pair of Western Chief snow boots. She loves these boots and finds a lot of use in them. Although they're marketed as snowshoes, she wears them fall, winter, and spring. They're waterproof and she says her feet stay warm and dry even on the coldest days. We live in Michigan and they work well in deep snow and cold weather. They've weathered snow and mud, but despite heavy use, they continue to wear and look new. The photo shows about four months of almost daily use by a five-year-old girl. We will continue to buy her in larger sizes as she continues to grow.
