This is our daughter's third pair of Western Chief snow boots. She loves these boots and finds a lot of use in them. Although they're marketed as snowshoes, she wears them fall, winter, and spring. Okay I liked these right out of the box, I ordered the wrong size, the company was great to replace them for me at the same price I originally paid because it has changed has changed about $10. However, my son wore them for the first time and after a few minutes the side tabs that allowed kids to easily put them on fell off. Updated Review 02/01/2019 I tried these boots under running water and we tried them again in the rain and they seem really waterproof. The reason we kept trying is because these boots fit the best, seem to be the most comfortable (other brands have feet dangling in a boot that is too wide), they look good, our kid loves them and is easy to put on (2 x 10 m). and they are not too wide to prevent rainwater ingress.
