I bought this primarily to clean areas behind my desk and dresser where dust collects. Unfortunately, I have found that there are more disadvantages than advantages. Also, the default mode is for use as a blower (which I don't really need); Minor disassembly is required to turn it into a vacuum cleaner, and you'll be trying to figure out on your own how to reattach a very stiff hose to the back to use it as a vacuum cleaner. And as another reviewer pointed out, ignore the instructions for plugging in the power cord altogether. Do not plug it in until everything is set up and ready to go. Pros: Fairly compact, nice fan powered PSU that's easy to take out and clean/replace. Negatives: 1. Loud - I mean really loud2. short power cord - you will likely need an extension cord to use this3. The nozzles are very tight on the hose - you have to twist and use force4. very stiff hose - any movement of the hose will cause the machine to hit the ground5. The hose is so stiff it's almost impossible to pack it in the included storage bag6. confusing instructions how to convert this from blower to vacuum cleaner - you'll have to find that out for yourself. Tip: Do not unscrew the large ring that secures the assembly to the power supply. Pinch the filter between your thumb and forefinger and pull out. Remove the little plastic thing in the middle of the adapter and you will see where to attach the hose.7. For such a noisy machine, the vacuum cleaner's performance is rather weak. Most of the dust just collects on the bristles of the brush and you need to clean them when you're done.
