Review on 🍞 2 lb Professional Stainless Steel Breadmaker - Breadman BK1050S by Jacob Diego

Good bread maker so far

I read a lot of reviews about this machine. I have to admit I was torn by the reviews, but as my old khlebnik is dying and we love our homemade bread, well, I received it yesterday, unwrapped it and (God forbid!) read the instructions for what it says that the first thing to do is run the empty thing through a quick loop, which is what I did. During this process, I carefully watched the flapper rub against the pan: no rubbing (expected, as I've done a fairly thorough investigation for such a possibility and found nothing to indicate that it rubbed). The smell was. I baked the first bread after washing out the mold, for the first test it is only white. What I noticed is that the kneading cycle worked great, much better than on my old machine. Following the directions, I loosened dough or flour or anything else that was sticking to the ends and corners - a little, but it was enough for the ball of dough to be picked up. Then I left everything as is until the end of the cycle. Nothing rubbed, nothing melted and nothing out of the ordinary happened on that first run, no oil mixed around the shaft and the choke worked as advertised. The bread came out good, rose more than expected (mind you, I followed directions exactly), and was pretty good for plain white bread (her recipe). The only thing I have is the bread has risen high enough that I can't put it in my bread bin, but it's something entirely unrelated. So all in all I think this is a good buy. After a while I will review this and either remove or add stars. I'm happy with that at the moment. Return visit: I have not encountered any problems with the machine after many loaves of excellent bread. I think my biggest complaint, if I do say so myself, is that it's difficult to see through a small window without a flashlight. Otherwise we ate homemade bread like it was going out of style. Great car.
