Review on ๐Ÿงผ Biowow Adjustable Soap Cutter Mold - DIY Handmade Loaf Cutter with 2-Piece Planer Cutting Tool Set by Dawn Fischer

Revainrating 1 out of 5

All in all, a well-made and inexpensive soap cutter for occasional use in small series.

Cheap and inexpensive. I made about 90 bars of soap in rectangular log shapes and then cut them out with that. It worked well. My only gripe is that the adjustable locking block in the cutting bay only has a wing nut to lock it in place, so it's pretty easy to accidentally shift or twist if you don't twist it too hard. Also, the same screw and wing nut combination uses a screw with an undersized hex head. This allows the head to rotate in the recess under the die when attempting to finger tighten the wing nut that sits on top of the stop block in the cutting chamber. The design is such that the head of the screw fits snugly in the groove so it cannot turn when you tighten the wing nut. Well it still works and I think it's worth giving only 1 star. .

Pros
  • handicrafts and sewing
Cons
  • small parts
