I didn't have high hopes for a ring light for less than $30. I was moderately looking for one when I got an offer from the seller to try it in exchange for a review. Just received today and pleasantly surprised. Installation is very easy (just follow the simple instructions when attaching the camera mount. Order is important and it's neatly laid out in the instructions, but people like me like to start before you read). All components appear to be well made. Didn't expect the tripod to be big, but it's suitable for a desktop mount. It works for landscape or landscape phones. It holds the phone in place well enough to press the buttons on the phone. The buttons on the cord seem to work well for toggling warmth and brightness. It also comes with shutter controls, which theoretically work with both iOS and Android (I have Android, so I can't test iOS). All in all a great purchase that I would recommend to a friend when they are in the market.
