My wife recently spent a few weeks in rehab and I have seen that they have been using thin, clear plastic bags in their bins which they have replaced with everyday ones . We needed the same at home when my wife was discharged, but she was still recovering: daily/every other day, lightweight garbage bag (5 1/2 gallons, regular size) that is usually no more than a third full, relatively soft and easy waste (napkins, bandages, gauze pads, small pieces of paper, etc.). That's it; and at a price (about 4 cents per bag) that was 25% cheaper than another brand in the chain (shipping included). We are very happy with these bags.
