Good Patches in Limits

I bought these patches to prolong the life of my work jeans that were fraying at my knees. I was cheap and wish they lasted a little longer. The first of two patches didn't stick to the pants but I think it was my fault - there was some water in the iron I used and the steam dissolved the glue. Please Note: Be sure to use a very DRY iron. The second patch stuck well and stuck. The first day of wear was a real test for these patches at work: all day on the roof, laying composite shingles. Verdict: failure. It turns out these patches aren't made from the same material as most jeans, so don't expect them to wear like other jeans; By the end of the day, my patch was worn and torn. I don't think the patch is to blame and my score reflects that. For decorative purposes and for light use I find them fine. In fact, the material is attractive and convincingly faded, which should pair well with slightly faded jeans. So four stars for a decent product that should work as it should with caveats. They didn't suit me, but my use was extreme. Before I shredded it, the patch adhered well to the jeans and looked good - and that's the basis of my assessment.
