The skin is pleasantly soft! My only complaint is that it interferes with both the battery compartment on the back of my controller and the adapter for my headset. I have to take it off halfway to change the batteries and turn it off completely when I want to use the headset and talk to my friends. Other than that, it's a great skin, and as long as you're not struggling with controller stuff that I have to do, you should be fine!
