Review on 🚗 Metra 99-9011 Single DIN Installation Multi-Kit: Perfect Fit for Volkswagen 2005-2009 Vehicles by Edwin Black

I was very disappointed with the look of this dashboard kit. First, they claim that it matches the color of the standard dash for a specific Jetta line; it is not. Poor quality paint, visible bubbles. They were also sent with no padding in the box meaning parts of the dash kit were rubbing together removing some of the paint. The paint will also come off during installation if you are not 100% careful; Even with the dash tools, the professional installer I used couldn't help but scratch parts of the paintwork. And then there's the fact that the underside of the dash isn't flush with the underside of the front heating/cooling panel. HUGE 3mm gap at the bottom; And with a professional installer! However, this *refers* to the double din module for this single din kit, but the discrepancy is in an area of the kit that would be unaffected by modifying the kit itself. If you have a 2006 Jetta TDI - especially if you plan to use this as a double din kit - buy at your own risk.
