I had a problem with a squirrel cage rotor that took 30 years to assemble and I just couldn't get out of a broken PSC -Motor came out typical hand tools. I took it off in about 10 minutes with this durable tool. Important: The viewing holes on the sides are essential for proper alignment. This proved very important to my job as the wheel offered resistance the full length of the axle - I had to force it completely out of the wheel with this tool's screw, not just rip it out! It didn't line up well enough on the first try and the screw caught on the edge of the axle hole. I stepped back and lined it up properly and it worked like a charm.
