Review on EVGA Supernova Modular Warranty 220 G5 0850 X1 by Ben Demers

Ironically, I only had a platinum certified power supply from a well-known brand for two months before this power supply accidentally caught my eye. I was able to return it for a refund and chose this one from EVGA, which means I wanted to at least keep the golden efficiency, modularity and 850W. I've been using this for a few weeks and it's great. The power adapter is already quite quiet in operation, but when the PC is not actively used in Eco mode, the fan switches off completely at sufficiently low temperatures. The jet black braided cables are of high quality and combine flexibility with a certain rigidity. The fully modular power supply is great and saves space in my setup, it currently only requires a standard CPU and 24 pin cables, plus PCIE for my GPU and only 2 SATA cables. Combine all of these features with gold-level energy efficiency and an amazing 10-year EVGA warranty and you have a keeper. I'll update this review if anything changes or goes wrong, but so far I'm very happy with this purchase.
