Review on Vicks EasyFill Cool Mist Humidifier: Rapid Relief for Cold and Flu Symptoms by Adan Hudson

I don't know what the three month window is on this model. Mine arrived exactly three months after tomorrow. He did an excellent job for most of those three months. The humidifier stopped producing mist, but made a buzzing noise. I cleaned it yesterday, and all last night it obediently gave off a mist. Tonight is the same as before: no fog and a buzz. I'm glad I did the investigation because the water in the tank was HOT. Actually 98.6º - I grabbed a thermometer and checked. And then I saw a melted piece of plastic on the cloud chamber. (Obviously not from tonight as the molten part froze.) This thing was next to my bed. During three months. And at some point it got so hot that the plastic melted. On the nightstand next to my bed. And I had no idea. It's really terrible. I used to like other Vicks humidifiers and this one was very easy to fill and quite effective when it worked, but no thanks.
