Review on PetMedics Non Contact Digital Thermometer Dogs by Ginger Peterson

Far From Safe

I bought this to monitor my dog's temperature before birth. Her rectal temperature dropped while the livestock specialist continued to show a normal temperature of 101.4 to 101.6. A difference of more than one degree was observed several times. When I put the Petmedic on my head the temperature read over 100 degrees while my personal thermometer read 97.5. It might be useful in high temperatures, I don't know, but definitely not accurate enough for puppies. .
