All functions of this HDMI to VGA adapter are as described. It is designed to connect HDMI input to VGA output. I like it. I chose this adapter as a bridge between my laptop and projector and the picture quality is excellent. (no flicker, lag, etc.). By using my VGA cable (not included) I can hold meetings in the office more efficiently. Pros: * Plug and Play, no additional software required. Plug the adapter into your computer's HDMI port, then easily connect the VGA cable from the adapter to the projector. *Adapter does get slightly warm during use, but not excessively so far, this is to be expected as the conversion process requires energy and therefore generates heat. It is in order. * There are not many foreign packaging. It comes in a reasonably sized box that isn't too fancy. This adapter is an exquisite and eco-friendly product that is well worth exploring. *From the description provided, it is clear that Starware offers a lifetime warranty, which is indicative of excellent customer service. Cons: * None yet. If there are any problems in the future I will come back for an update. If my friends or co-workers need an HDMI to VGA adapter, I would have no hesitation in recommending this Starware.
