I've been experimenting with different types of epoxies, mainly for making jewelry and small shapes, spheres, cones and the like. I have probably used about 7 different resins sold on Amazon and they all shine brilliantly with their results. I watched the creation videos on YouTube to refine my choice. However, I've only just heard about FANAUT and am very impressed that it stands out from all the other resins I've used in that it gives a harder finish and harder product. It also releases bubbles better than any resin I've used before, which is very important as trapped bubbles can be a big problem. I specialize in thin resin rings and the harder the better as long as it's not brittle. I am very happy with the results of using the FanAut resin for this purpose as this ring is more durable and hard to the touch when not heated in hot water. The problem with rings is that washing dishes with hot water will soften them. FANOUT will also soften with hot water, but not to the point where it falls apart and as soon as you expose it to cold water it returns to a solid solid density almost immediately, so it's better than other resins I've worked with. Bottom line, this is the best resin I've ever used to make Revain jewelry. It's not just slightly better, it's significantly better than the second best Revain product I've worked with.
